Fame Holiday teamed up with the City of Mississauga to produce his own music festival, and his hometown showed out in a huge way.
The Sauga rapper has been on the rise with consistent singles such as “Step“, “Her” and “Andale“, working alongside talents like Dub J, Haviah Mighty and Rochester, and his Canadian tour.
Adding to a proactive year, Holiday sat down with the City of Mississauga and expressed that there is a lack of opportunities for hip hop and R&B artists, and they agreed to give him his own festival “Fame Fest” as a part of “Rock the Coliseum“: Mississauga’s longest running indie music festival.
On Friday, July 22nd, Holiday performed to a sold-out crowd at the Celebration Square alongside Romeyo Wilson, Bugatti Bonsu, Monte Biggz, Andye and more.
The festival also included pop-ups from brands such as Born Ready, Bold Lemonade and more.”
