The Mobilizer 5.0, designed by SHEEEP and assisted by Jada Wallace and Zaynab Khan, is a new addition to the City of Mississauga temporary public art roster. This prop is used to facilitate conversations and will be used to broadly discuss climate change and the importance of neighbourhood green spaces. As a multi-faceted performance piece, it will occupy Malton Greenway park by being pushed through the trail, the community centre and nearby mall – all while engaging with the local community. Mobilizer 5.0 will be on display in the Malton Greenway on August 4, from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m., and on August 6, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. This art piece is a collaboration between the City’s Parks, Forestry and Environment Division and the Public Art Program.
