Watch now as we recap Day 1 of Rock the Coliseum! Rock the Coliseum (RTC) took place on July 22 & 23 at the Amphitheatre in Mississauga Celebration Square. RTC is Mississauga’s longest running, all-ages, free indie music festival! The first night featured performances by local R&B and Hip-hop artists to a sold-out crowd: Fame Holiday, Bungatti Bonsu, Ameerah, N.R.M.N., Romeyo Wilson, DJ Natty B, and Tre Mollie. About Fame Holiday
Rapper Fame Holiday has been establishing himself in the Canadian music scene since his first talent show at 14. He represents the Other Side of Toronto (or O.S.O.T) – a collective for those outside of the city in boroughs like his native Mississauga, just west of the Big Smoke.
Fame often weaves stories and messages from his upbringing with his signature sounding hooks and melodies. He’s often influenced by the sounds he grew up with from musical icons such as 50 Cent, Nipsey Hussle, Big Sean and Chris Brown.
