VAM Professional Practice & Group Exhibition for Artists

Be part of an upcoming group exhibition this January 2023! This course is designed for you to advance your art practice and focus on your professional skills that culminate in a group exhibition at VAM. Over an 9-week period, you will clarify your goals as an artist, define your career vision and develop a working plan that is unique to you. You will understand the importance of support material, learn how to document your artwork, explore exhibition venues, identify themes in your work, and gain insight and confidence into exhibition layout and promoting yourself. The class will regroup on January 25th with their artwork to prepare for the exhibition. The exhibition at VAM will run from January 30th to February 5th, 2023. Course cost includes exhibition fee. Maximum 12 students. A VAM membership is required to participate in this course.
