On Sept 23 2022, Martys HUB Reporter, Jennifer Cortez aka The Prof attended the Amphitheatre in the Mississauga Celebration Square for a versatile Hip Hop event, mixing old skool with new age, featuring award-winning, local and up and coming hip hop artists.
The event was hosted by the Humble and Hungry Collective (H&H) as part of the Love Local program. The artist line up included performances by Canadian rapper and 4x Juno award winner, Choclair, Rochester, Jon Kabongo and Founder of H&H, Vivek Mehmi. The other face of H&H is Dante Waechter who was the host for the evening. Other appearances included DJ Penthaüs, DJ Spence Diamonds and DJ Pablo.
Jennifer also interviewed the faces behind the event, H&H’s, Vivek Mehmi and Dante Waechter prior to the evening. You can find Humble & Hungry Collective on IG @humbleandhungryco and expect to see more upcoming historical events in the near future.
