About the film:
Ralph is a struggling factory worker who hopes to win the jackpot in the national lottery mainly because there is a $ 60 million jackpot and 50 chances to win a $ 1 million. He convinces his co-workers that it’s worth buying tickets as a group to increase the chances of winning one of the cash prizes.
One of their co-workers, Horace, gets driven home by Ralph from the hospital. When they arrive at Horace’s house, he indicates to Ralph that he bought lottery tickets for this week’s draw.
Ralph examines his ticket’s and discovers that one of them is a jackpot winner. Before Ralph leaves Horace’s house, he substitutes the winning ticket for one of the losing tickets.
He departs Horace’s house feeling excited that he will keep the winnings from that ticket for himself. But on his way home, he experiences something that prevents him from doing that.
