Guiding us through this meaningful experience is the talented facilitator Sandra Clarke, specially selected from the esteemed Mississauga Arts Council roster. Together, we will use the creative medium of crafting to delve into the complex emotions surrounding the climate crisis and find healing and inspiration.
During this event, we will explore our collective concerns, anxieties, and hopes for the future of our planet. Through artistic expression, Sandra Clarke will guide participants in capturing their feelings and visions on canvas. No prior experience is necessary—this event is open to all skill levels and backgrounds.
Engage in meaningful discussions, connect with like-minded individuals, and create art that speaks volumes. This event provides a safe space for expressing our anxieties, exploring sustainable solutions, and promoting positive action to address the climate crisis.
Don’t miss this opportunity to make a difference through art. Save the date—September 7th, 2023, from 6pm to 8pm—and join us for Impact Arts: Craftivism – Anxiety Over Climate Crisis. Let’s use the transformative power of art to process emotions, raise awareness, and inspire positive change towards a more sustainable and resilient future.
