On Sunday, September 10 at 11am in Port Credit Memorial Park, Her Worship Mayor Bonnie Crombie will induct Maestro Denis Mastromonaco and the Mississauga Symphony Orchestra into the Mississauga Music Walk of Fame! The award is a major honour for the orchestra.
Members of the Walk of Fame include: Oscar Peterson, Ronnie Hawkins, Gil Moore and Rik Emmet of Triumph, George Stroumboulopoulos, and a long list of accomplished musicians and culture leaders. A complete list of members can be found at: https://musicwalkoffame.ca/
Members of the public are encouraged to attend the ceremony to be a part of this historic moment. The event will be FREE to attend, and will provide an opportunity for the community to pay homage to the remarkable talent that has emerged from Mississauga.
