Connecting Mississauga to the arts, and the arts to Mississauga and beyond
Join Martys HUBJoin Olivia Whetung, contemporary artist, printmaker, writer, and member of the Curve Lake First Nation and citizen of the Nishnaabeg Nation, in this two-part introductory virtual workshop.
In this workshop, participants will learn peyote ‘in the round’. This includes techniques such as tubular peyote and beading a peyote triangle. Core skills include the ‘step up’ and herringbone increases. Knowledge of flat peyote stitch is required.
