Last year, Jack Kukolic a student from Sheridan College directed and produced a short film about Meadowvale Village, Ontaro’s first heritage district and Terry Wilson a lifelong resident, his backyard village, and the change within Meadowvale Village over time. The film is beginning its run through film festivals which is a costly endavour. This event is an opportunity for those who have never seen the village to take a walk through time with Terry, and a chance to see the film which will be screened at dusk! Terry will also have his books available for purchase if you would like to support his work and the village.
This event is pay what you can, while we don’t expect any money, producing and submitting the film into festivals to get recongnition and share Terry’s story is expensive! All donations $20.00 and above will recieve named recognition in the end credits of the film.

THE FILM: Terry Wilson is a 70-year-old lifelong resident of Meadowvale Village, Ontario’s first heritage district. As development looms and begins to destroy Terry’s favourite place in the world, he recreates pieces of history in his backyard, crafting an oasis where it feels like nothing has changed. A beautiful tribute to his childhood, his mother, and his town, Terry passionately fights to preserve history in a world that’s too anxious for change. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt29593552/?ref_=ext_shr_lnk
