Anuja Varghese won the 2023 Governor General’s Literary Award for her debut short story collection, Chrysalis. This captivating work delves into the South Asian diaspora experience through a feminist and speculative lens.
Anuja writes literary fiction, speculative fiction, and erotica/romance, where women of colour take centre stage. She holds an English Literature degree from McGill University and a Creative Writing Certificate from the University of Toronto and lives in Hamilton, Ontario.
