For the community of Malton, we are presenting workshops on the art of rap. Together with established Mississauga Hip Hop veterans, attendees can expect a crash course in rhyming, with a dose of performance etiquette, and a song-writing challenge.

Youth Showcase

Together with the Jonathan Davis Centre, we are proud to showcase the talent bubbling up in the Malton area. Youth participating in the Youth Hub’s music program will have a chance to share the stage with the workshop artists.

Open Mic Cypher Auditions

Hosted by Testament, rappers are encouraged to audition for a spot in the 2nd Annual River Mouth Cypher, happening Saturday September 7th at Rec Room Square One. The winner will be selected after the event with a grand prize of $500.
