Musical duo ZyRuP has unveiled “SSW”, the final song from their EP “Untold Story.” This track brings the EP to a powerful conclusion, blending raw emotion, cinematic storytelling, and intense soundscapes.
The “SSW” music video is a visual masterpiece, featuring a gripping narrative that explores inner battles, resilience, and redemption. With hauntingly beautiful imagery and a storyline that keeps viewers on edge, the video captures the struggles of two souls on their own journeys, facing their inner battles and trying to heal. Their meeting is unexpected, but it becomes a moment of understanding and connection.
The “SSW” music video was brought to life by Toronto-based cinematographer Madushan Amarasinghe (@Kites Image), who handled the story, direction, creative elements, and editing with masterful precision. Joining him in this project was Kasun Nawarathna, who contributed as the assistant director and cinematographer. The behind-the-scenes moments were beautifully captured by Diren Dantanarayana, adding depth to the creative process. Further, Gayan Sanjeewa gave his contribution on drawing the story board.
On the audio side, ZyRuP handled the production, ensuring the song’s unique sonic identity. The lyrics of “SSW” were written by Alyce, a Bulgarian singer, songwriter, and producer, bringing deep emotion and storytelling to the track. The live drums, played by Kushmin B, added a raw and dynamic energy to the track. Juda at Terminal16 played a crucial role in shaping the final sound, recording the live drums and vocals, and delivering the mixing and mastering that gave “SSW” its powerful and polished finish.
This project was a true collaboration of vision, passion, and artistry, making “SSW” not just a song, but an immersive experience.
ZyRuP wanted to thank Philoso7her, Abhitha Munasinghe, Poornima Dilini and Saliya Illangasinghe on supporting this project.
