Irma is an mixed media visual artist living in the historic village of Streetsville. She’s an emerging artist whose intuitive acrylic images on canvas derive from memories of her alpine European roots, inspired by her treks on rocky landscapes or whatever life throws at her. Irma expresses herself using acrylic paint and mixed mediums to create her organic or geometric shapes. Her palette varies, but chances are it’s bursting with pops of saturation. Irma enhances her pieces with mark making to achieve intriguing textures, adding depth and mystery. Engaging in international and local art programs is how Irma strengthens her self-taught art practice. Artwork is displayed in local exhibitions, virtual shows, and by private collectors. Irma enjoys enriched connections with artists in person and virtually, sharing experiences and coordinating art events. She continues to elevate her art practice with ongoing new learning, sharing her skills with others, and volunteering her time.
