On Saturday November 26th (1pm – 6pm), Studio.89’s Social Justice Team will be facilitating ‘Seasons Reborn: Artist Showcase and Open Mic’. This two-parter event will center around bringing people in our community together to share their stories and celebrate their identity through art. In particular, as non-Indigenous settlers on this land, Studio.89’s Social Justice Team hopes to uplift and support local Indigenous artistry.
They are giving out invitations to artists to showcase and sell their art within our space (at no cost) to our patrons during the first half of the event (1pm – 3pm). For the second half of the event (3:45pm – 6pm), they will be having a corresponding Open Mic (following along the same themes of identity and community).
