BIPOC Residency

“We are inviting emerging artists (18 years of age and older) residing in Mississauga to apply for VAM’s BIPOC Mentorship Residency! This residency is an opportunity for emerging artists in Mississauga to participate in a 4-month production, exhibition and mentorship program with a focus on collaboration.
Residents will be invited to access VAM’s studios and online platforms to create and collaborate on artwork for a final exhibition in September 2023. Each artist will receive a production budget to produce work and an artist fee for their participation in the program. The residency aims to nurture the growth of local artists and foster the development of collaborative thought-provoking work.
