ABOUT EAGLE SPIRITS
Established in 2019, Eagle Spirits of the Great Waters is a vibrant Indigenous-led, volunteer run non-profit organization based in Mississauga. We are Indigenous and non-Indigenous people sharing, celebrating, learning, and creating space for Indigenous arts and cultures.

WHY JOIN US?
By becoming a board member, you’ll play a vital role to support Indigenous arts and cultural events, exhibits, workshops, classes, and gatherings for the community of all peoples in Mississauga. You’ll work with a passionate team in a friendly atmosphere based on the principals of the Eighth Fire and the 7 Grandfather Teachings to work together and create good things.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We invite applications from Indigenous and allies alike but must have at least 80% board members who are Indigenous identifying and 50% who are residents of Mississauga. We welcome applicants who possess skills in areas such as arts administration, communications, finance, marketing, legal, computer and digital technologies, and more.
