What is Love? Past and Present Love Stories of Mississauga
Mississauga Museums wants to hear your story!
Love is what binds us all, and this exhibition will explore how love presents itself in many different forms – romance, family, friendship, and more. The exhibition will showcase the personal stories of historic and contemporary Mississauga residents and examine the ways that love has helped them foster connections and overcome hardship.
The exhibition will feature the personal love stories of Mississauga community members to present the vast diversity of love that thrives among Mississaugans! It will also draw from the Bradley Museum’s collection of historical artifacts relating to love, such as letters, Valentine’s cards, and wedding dresses.
This project is presented in partnership by the Museums of Mississauga and the Master of Museum studies program, offered through the Faculty of Information at the University of Toronto.
Curated by Annabelle Kolomeisky, Megan Mahon, Louisa Simmons, and Meg Soderlund, all of whom are graduate students at the University of Toronto.
