Cantoo City recently hosted its very first Doodle Square pop-up pilot at Life Time Mississauga, offering a relaxed, creativity-based session designed to support mental wellness and build community through art.

Led by Sherry Gu, founder of Cantoo City and a local contemporary artist, the session welcomed Life Time Aurora members to the café for an hour of sketching, doodling, and colouring at their own pace. With no rules or pressure, the experience gave members a chance to slow down, connect with one another, and enjoy the simple joy of creating in a supportive space.

“As an artist and small business owner, I’ve always believed in the power of creativity to unit people together,” says Sherry. “It was wonderful to see everyone relax and express themselves so freely.”

This pilot event was a chance to explore how creative experiences can nurture personal well-being and spark meaningful social connection. Cantoo City is thankful to Life Time Mississauga for partnering with a local brand to bring this idea to life—reflecting a shared commitment to wellness, creativity, and community care.

We’re excited to grow the Doodle Square pop-up event and are already looking forward to hosting more sessions with Life Time and other community partners across the region.

At Cantoo City, we believe that small moments of creativity can make a big impact. To learn more, please send your email to info@cantoocity.com
