The City of Mississauga’s Public Art Program invites professional artists, artist-led teams, and muralists to submit expressions of interest for a mural on the exterior canopy of Tomken Arena (4495 Tomken Road, Mississauga, ON).
This is a two-stage artist selection process with preference given to artists who have a connection to Mississauga. Up to four artists will be shortlisted from this call to develop a proposal. The commissioned artist(s) will be expected to complete the project by September 30, 2023.
The City is seeking a bright and vibrant mural that celebrates lifelong active living and the local Mississauga multi-use trails.
The total budget for this project is $15,000.00 CAD plus HST.
