MartysHUB and the Mississauga Arts Council congratulates CreativeHUB 1352 on their fantastic wins and acheivements this year!
| Mississauga, Ontario – October 7, 2021 – CreativeHub 1352’s InSitu Multi-Arts Festival, The Lost Museum, has won two significant awards this past month: The Web Excellence Awards and the Ontario Arts Education Association Annual Awards.
The Web Excellence Awards, a leading international interactive web awards competition, named The Lost Museum as this year’s “best of the best” in web design and development, under the category “Website, Art”. Thank you to The Lost Museum’s outstanding web design team, led by Producer, Director, Editor: Digital & Film, Cathleen MacDonald.
The Lost Museum’s Artistic Co-Directors, Jill Hollingsworth and Heather Snell, have also been recognized by The Ontario Art Education Association (OAEA), under the category Community Art Educator of the Year.

The Web Excellence Awards, an annual international competition, saw over 950 entries worldwide, including 40 US States and 34 countries including Australia, Canada, The Netherlands, UK, Germany, Ukraine, Switzerland, India, etc. An international panel of industry professionals with diverse backgrounds evaluated categories ranging from online advertising to mobile applications. The 2021 winning entries showcase the industry’s best interactive media solutions, including websites, mobile applications, print media, interactive displays, online advertising, video, email and more.
The OAEA, through The Community Art Educator of the Year Award, acknowledges excellence in visual arts education and leadership by recognizing individuals from institutions, organizations, and communities throughout Ontario.
The Lost Museum project, a response to the COVID-19 pandemic, is a virtual museum celebrating art and performance through the themes of “Lost,” introducing viewers to unknown works inhabiting the Small Arms Inspection Building (SAIB). The project currently features the work of 50+ artists, performers, cultural producers, builders, filmmakers, and designers from Mississauga and the Greater Toronto Area’s (GTA) creative communities, along with the contributions of 250+ students. The The Lost Museum, launched on March 26th, 2021, has been viewed over 5,000 times by people throughout Canada and the United States.
