ALL AGES Open Mic – Irish Shebeen hosted by Matt Zaddy

We are now back in full swing with in-person open mics in 2022 and we are so excited!

For the time being, we are going to keep things stripped down and acoustic. There will be a left handed and right handed acoustic guitar available for use.

PERFORMERS: we highly recommend you bring your own mics if at all possible. There will also be a COVID screening for all performers. Email info@mattzaddy.com for details.

For a number of years I have hosted Open Mic Jam Night events in my community. These events have brought a great deal of joy to performers, and to music and comedy lovers. They have truly been the highlight of my week for as long as I can remember. This was our community getting together, to celebrate what we love.

I’m very happy that I can do these events live and in person again! Thanks to the Irish Shebeen for approaching me to get these going again 

Event itinerary:

745pm-8pm – performers check in

8pm-820pm – Matt Zaddy intro’s the event/performs

815pm onward – OPEN MIC!

– CONTENT: because of this being an all ages open mic, I have to be strict with the type of content I have from performers. These performances will be viewed by people of all ages so let’s conduct ourselves accordingly. What you perform reflects directly on me as a host.
– Absolutely NO misogyny, racism, homophobia, transphobia, hatespeech, etc.
– anyone who violates the rules will be kicked out of the event and barred from future performances
