City of Mississauga – Celebrating Black Excellence Event

An evening to celebrate and recognize the accomplishments of Mississauga’s Black community. The celebration will involve musical guests, keynote speakers and an awards ceremony.
Nominations are now being accepted for the Black Excellence Awards. These awards focus on the efforts and achievements of Mississauga’s Black residents and volunteers in one of five categories.
The nomination period is from Wednesday, February 1 through Friday, February 10, 2023. Late nominations will not be considered.
