FREE PUBLIC ART UNVEILING EVENT: Woods of Wonder – Cawthra Trail

Woods of Wonder – Cawthra Trail, is a forest art installation posted along the path of Cawthra Woods. It celebrates this beautiful urban forest and features some of the flora and fauna that thrive there.  The artwork, created by local artist and arts educator Joanne Feely DeGraaf, is augmented with audio recordings that can be access via QR codes placed along the trail.  During the unveiling event the artist will offer a guided trail walk to discuss the art and local flora and fauna that it features.

5:00 pm   LONGER TRAIL WALK  (3, 4, 5, 6. 7. 11. 12,13, 14, 15)

6:00 pm     WRAP-UP

Meet in front of the map station 4:30, or 5:00  pm to join trail walks.

PLEASE COME PREPARED FOR A FOREST TRAIL WALK – Walking shoes, long pants and sleeves are recommended.
