Location: Perfect Harmony Music Studio Ltd (1055 Canadian Place #107, Mississauga)
Step into a realm where art, music, and well-being intertwine, and embark on a transformative journey through our exclusive workshops. Engage in a specialized session that revolves around evidence-based group drumming protocols called HealthRHYTHMS, complemented by therapeutic painting experiences.
This workshop offers a holistic approach to mental health, blending the rhythm of drumming with the strokes of paint to guide you towards empowerment and healing. Whether you arrive solo or with a companion, our intimate sessions accommodate a maximum of 15 participants, ensuring a close-knit and supportive environment. Participants aged 16 and above are welcome, as we believe in the universal reach of creative expression.
Our studio is an oasis of inspiration, adorned with nature-themed artworks to ignite your creative senses. Led by seasoned facilitators, you’ll explore techniques such as layering, direct painting, and the therapeutic rhythms of drumming.
All necessary materials will be supplied, and you’re encouraged to bring personal sources of inspiration. No prior artistic experience is necessary; the focus is on genuine self-expression.
This is a space free from judgment, where you’re invited to be your authentic self. Embark on a journey of artistic growth, self-discovery, and mental well-being. Let the fusion of drumming and painting, guided by evidence-based practices, become your pathway to empowerment.
Join us in this harmonious symphony of creativity and healing. Depart not only with artwork, but also with a renewed understanding of your own potential.
*This is ONE of the FIVE workshops funded by Mississauga Arts Council’s MicroGrant (ArtsCare Program Development), follow our Facebook and Instagram for other similar workshops, and they are FREE of Charge!
