This summer, visitors can shop and support local at the Love Local Art Shop – a charming shipping container turned pop-up shop at Celebration Square. Pop in and browse a new selection of unique and original artwork by the City of Mississauga’s Resident Artists every weekend!
Whether you’re looking for jewelry, ceramics, glass art or more, the Love Local Art Shop has the next piece for your collection.
Open every Friday to Sunday 1:00pm to 8:00pm.
Increased safety measures will be in place. Based on Step 2 of Ontario’s Reopening Framework, the Art Shop has a maximum capacity of 3 people at one time. Masks are mandatory for all individuals inside the shop.
Matthew McIntyre is an emerging woodworker, Matthew’s pieces showcase innovative modes of working with materials, narrative furniture making, and pushing the boundaries of conceptual and functional design.
Alby Kenny is an emerging mixed media artist, Albie uses her craft including dye and screen printing to invite conversation around climate change and the industrialization of agriculture and other socio political issues.
