Opening Events for the 2025 FORMS, FACES & SPACES, figuratively speaking! show in May, Saturday afternoon, May 3, include a themed afternoon following the morning’s Reception and Awards Ceremony.  This is dedicated to exploring and experiencing a basic premise about photography’s creative expression. In Dr. Aditi Ganeev Sangwan’s words, “to take a picture is to intend to create a memory.”

Memory-Scapes explores the many facets, prompts, and motivations that create memories for us, but most importantly, this afternoon will have people considering where do we stores our memories – besides our cell phones – and what makes something remarkable?  Why do certain things trigger a memory?  The afternoon will have something for everybody in the Studio, Lower Level of the Halton Hills Cultural Centre.

  • 12:00 – 12:55 pm the Memory-Scapes Display opens with an array of artifacts,
  • 1:00 – 2:15 pm free presentation  by Frank Myers, Photographer, Aditi Sangwan, Photographer, Print-Maker, Artist, and E. Connie Munson, Photographer, Writer, Creative-Animateur

Send $50.00 by etransfer to aditiganeevsangwan@gmail.com  All supplies and materials included.

This afternoon is an important part of the spirit behind this 4th annual FORMS, FACES & SPACES, figuratively speaking! show.  It is a registered satellite site of the world’s largest photography event, the CONTACT Festival, now in its 29th year.  And, most importantly,  it is a celebration of the synergy that emerges amongst creative-expressive people.
