MAC Arts Café – Online Open Mic returns on Thursday, September 23, 7:00 PM on MAC’s Facebook and YouTube.

Reaching over 23,900 people with over 7,200 views across Facebook & YouTube, our MAC Arts Cafe – Online Open Mic’s, hosted by award-winning singer/songwriter, Heather Christine have been very successful. Since July 2020, our monthly MAC Arts Cafe – Online Open Mics, have been a great opportunity for performers to showcase their talents during the COVID-19 pandemic. MAC Arts Cafe features emerging and established Mississauga talents including singers, musicians, spoken word artists, poets, and more.

Want to perform at our MAC Arts Cafe – Online Open Mic?

Each performer gets a 7-minute timeslot or the equivalent of two songs.

Submit an online audition including:

• your contact information
• a short bio about you (max. 200 words)
• a video or audio recording of you performing (submit as a link)

You will be contacted by the Mississauga Arts Council with:

• confirmation if you’ve been selected as a performer
• details on how to join the online broadcast studio, your time slot, and what you need in order to perform from home
