PAMA: Terrarium Workshop with Alexscapes

Celebrate the beauty of nature by inviting a small piece of it into your home! Join Alexandra Vella from Alexscapes for an exciting terrarium making workshop. We will visit the exhibition In Her Garden and find inspiration in Amanda McCavour’s botanical garden. In this hands-on workshop, you will make your own terrarium, drawing from the concept of wabi-sabi, a Japanese tradition of finding beauty in imperfection, impermanence and change.

Registration Information:

· Public: $60 +HST, Members: $51 +HST (price includes all supplies)

· Each person will go home with a glass vessel, a variety of plants (such as peperomia, string of turtles, asparagus fern, duckweed, terrestrial mosses), as well as a dragon stone and substrate from the Amazon

· Registration required, space is limited

· Recommended for ages 13 and up

· This program includes a tour of In Her Garden: Amanda McCavour and Jannick Deslauriers.
