Biography: Multi-Award winning Poet-Author and Arts Educator Nadine Williams is a Jamaican-Canadian with a passion for social justice. She has been making waves in the Great Lakes and as far away as Vienna Austria. Among her many accolades, are opening for Mrs. Obama, Canada’s Governor General as well as Prime Ministers of both Jamaica and Canada and is the Resident Poet for the Caribbean Consular Corps. Her awards include The York Regional Police’ Deeds Speak Award 2014, which received Parliamentary mention in 2019 and recently named among the 100 Accomplished Black Canadian Women (100ABC) 2022.
