Join us for an important discussion about the rising challenges of poverty and homelessness in Mississauga. Our community is facing increasing food insecurity and homelessness, and it’s time to learn what we can do to help.

Guest Speakers:

  • John Nyholt, Board Chair of The Compass Foodbank and Outreach Centre:
    A look at the dramatic rise in foodbank use and the growing issue of homelessness in Mississauga.

  • Stephen Dasko, Ward One Councillor, City of Mississauga:
    Insights on the role of government in addressing these crises, and how concerned citizens can make a difference.

Questions and Discussion afterward, with light refreshments.
