About the facilitators:
Lilly Dettweiler – has been active in Mississauga’s Music community for as long as she can remember. She participated in annual Peel Music Festivals from the age of six onwards, playing the piano, xylophone and violin. She also enjoyed every minute of singing with the Mississauga Children’s Choir. Lilly took violin lessons through Oakville Suzuki until she graduated high school, then she went to university for violin performance and is graduating with her degree in it in April of 2023. All of Lilly’s music making helped her develop empathy, communication skills, and connection to cultures of the past and present. These experiences are helping Lilly contribute to her community through teaching at Perfect Harmony Music Studio. Teaching, for Lilly, is an opportunity to dream with people about their future skills and ways in which they can craft the future with others.
Samuel Liu – As a member of Drum Circle Facilitator Guild (USA) and accredited with Remo HealthRhythms, Samuel has delivered more than 150 drum circles through his company DrumIN.
