Watercolor Wonders: A Family Sunday Art Experience

Join us for a delightful watercolor workshop on Sunday, August 18th, 2024, led by the talented artist and educator Devika Mathur. This family-friendly event is open to all ages, making it the perfect opportunity to enjoy a creative day out with your loved ones.

Devika Mathur, based in Mississauga, has been passionate about art from a young age. She has extensive experience teaching in Interior Design & Fashion Design schools, as well as in the Architecture and Fine Arts departments of a University. Devika is actively involved in the community, working with youth, seniors, and adults with special needs through online workshops and one-on-one sessions. Currently, she teaches art with the City of Mississauga and Visual Arts Mississauga.

In this workshop, you’ll explore the basics of watercolor painting, including techniques for mixing colors, creating washes, and capturing the beauty of nature. Whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to refresh your skills, Devika will guide you through the process in a supportive and encouraging environment.
