Workshop | Treasures From Home

Join us for an intimate and reflective workshop led by artist Tiina Salo-Devries, where we explore the deep connections between personal memory and the objects we carry with us from our homelands.

In this hands-on session, participants are invited to bring a small, meaningful object from their country of origin. We will engage in a group discussion to uncover the stories and emotions attached to these items. We’ll explore whether these feelings have evolved and consider the continuing significance of these objects in our lives.

Through various perspectives, we’ll explore each object’s cultural, emotional, and personal value, offering a deeper understanding of what makes these “treasures from home” so special.

The workshop will conclude with a creative exercise. Participants can draw their objects using watercolour pencils, capturing their essence and personal significance in a unique piece of art.
