Bring out your flip phones and your Walkmans! Canadian powerhouse Suzie McNeil headlines the Y2K Fest, a celebration of early 2000s music nostalgia, also featuring a totally rad lineup of local artists.
The Y2K Fest will be taking place on Friday, September 9th, 2022 at the Outdoor Amphitheatre at Celebration Square in Mississauga. A portion of the proceeds from the ticket sales of Y2K Fest will be donated to Peel Children’s Aid Foundation. Their programs fund enrichment opportunities for vulnerable children and disadvantaged youth living in Peel. This donation will go towards the following:
-Participation in organized sport activities.
-Music lessons and art classes.
-Bursaries for post-secondary education.
-Backpacks filled with school supplies.
-Grocery gift cards, toiletries, and infant supplies.
-Life skills such as cooking, resume building, budgeting, etc.

The festival is being organized by Mauve, a local Mississauga singer & songwriter who has a passion for uplifting her surrounding community and bringing people together. Mauve was selected by the City of Mississauga & Canada’s Music Incubator to organize a concert featuring local talent for the “Love Local Music” program. She is very excited to be a part of this opportunity and put together the Y2K Fest!
