Please TAKE THIS SURVEY before June 27 and help spread the word through your network.
Hear and Now: Understanding the economic power and potential of Canada’s live music industry is the first-ever Economic Impact Assessment of the live music sector in Canada and will include a breakout report on Mississauga’s live music economy.
The project’s survey is directed at, and intended to be completed by, the live music industry as a whole. “Live music industry” means any industry association, business, organization or individual involved in any aspect of the production, promotion and/or execution of live music performances (e.g. artists, venues, festivals, agents, promoters, publicists, managers, suppliers, technicians, and staff).
This study comes at a critical moment in time, as parts of the industry continue to face a wide range of obstacles; from rising costs to labour shortages. Upon completion, this project will play a key role in equipping the industry, the CLMA, and City of Mississauga with comprehensive data that will help the sector address current challenges and opportunities, as well as plan for the future.
