Watch as we interview Elisa and find where she drew inspiration for her newest song, how she got started in the world of singing, and the culinary skills she learned from her Nonna growing up! As a newly-minted Canadian Christmas songwriter, will she be able to take on our Music Mondays challenge of naming as many holiday tunes as she can under pressure?
About Elisa
Elia Malatesta is a Canadian Recording Artist and has been releasing music for over 20 years. She currently has two albums and 11 singles available on all digital platforms. Her single featuring Songsbury “You are the Reason, Crying to the Moon, and Love’s Destiny were featured on Radio Stations in Canada and the UK. Elisa recently released an original Christmas song that she co-wrote with Matt Zaddy called Christmas in My Heart and produced by Songsbury. Elisa has been working with Matt over the Summer writing more original songs that she hopes to work on in the new year.
On top of releasing new music, Elisa has had countless media appearances and has shared the stage with Artists such as the Tenors, Mediterranean Guitarist Pavlo, and Viva Trio. Her music has the perfect blend of orchestral purity with modern pop tones and melody.
