Gayle Borthwick – Athletics
Borthwick, hailing from the prairies of Saskatchewan, has secured her well-deserved place among the golfing greats in the Canadian Golf Hall of Fame. Her illustrious career is punctuated by an impressive tally of three U.S. Senior titles, victories at both the Canadian Amateur and Canadian Senior, and a plethora of provincial championships.
Pat Bullard – Entertainment & Media
Pat Bullard is a stand up comedian, television host, and award winning television writer. After hosting his own talk show in New York, he moved to Los Angeles to host a variety of popular reality-based television shows. Today, he is the Executive Director of Reba McEntire’s new sitcom, Happy’s Place. His career in Hollywood has been extensive and he continues to perform and call Los Angeles home.
Amanda Cleghorn – Entertainment & Media
Amanda Cleghorn is a world-class dancer, teacher, choreographer and actress. Amanda appeared on So You Think You Can Dance Canada, Season 3, fin-ishing as Canada!s top female dancer. She traveled the world thru 2013-14 dancing on stage with Taylor Swift in her Red Tour. Amanda lives in Los Angeles and is a sought after dance talent in Hollywood with an impressive list of career accomplishments.
John Roberts – Entertainment & Media
Roberts co-hosted with Jeanne Beker the music newsmagazine The NewMusic on CITY-TV through the eighties. He was then tapped to front Canada’s music channel MuchMusic. His career took him to the U.S. as one of America!s highest profile newscasters. Roberts was with CBS News for 14 years, and served as chief White House correspondent and chief medical correspondent. John currently serves as the co-anchor of America Reports on FOX News Channel in Washington.
Jason Spezza – Athletics
Rated the top Canadian Hockey League prospect ahead of the 2001 NHL Draft, Jason was selected by the Ottawa Senators. He made his first impact with the Senators, setting a team record with 71 assists during the 2005-06 season. He played in Ottawa for 13 seasons, 4 more in Dallas and finished his career with the Leafs in Toronto. Jason retired with 995 career NHL points.
Simu Liu – Entertainment & Media
Best known in Canada for his role on the acclaimed television show Kim’s Convenience, In 2021 Liu was chosen to play the titular Marvel comic book hero in Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. In the United States, the movie was the second-highest grossing of 2021. This was followed by his role in Barbie along with Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling. Liu is a New York Times, best selling author, and became the fourth actor of Chinese descent to host Saturday Night Live. He has previously hosted Canada’s Juno Awards in 2022 and ’23.
