Exciting Opportunity: Join Heritage Mississauga as Our Treasurer!

We are reaching out to you with an exciting opportunity! Heritage Mississauga is seeking a Certified Professional Accountant (CPA) to join our Board of Directors in the volunteer position of Treasurer. This is a fantastic chance for someone looking to make a real difference in our community, and we need your help spreading the word!

About the Role:

The Treasurer plays a key role in overseeing the financial health of our organization, working closely with our Executive Director and Board. This is a flexible, remote position (with the occasional in-person meeting) requiring around 8-10 hours per month.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial oversight, budgeting, and investment management
Preparation of monthly financial reports
Acting as a signing officer for the organization
Supporting grant applications and fundraising efforts

The ideal candidate should have experience in the nonprofit sector, be detail-oriented, and live or work in Mississauga. By joining us, they’ll help preserve and promote the heritage that makes Mississauga unique!
