The Ontario Arts Council (OAC) has partnered with leadership advisory firm Odgers Berndtson in the recruitment for two senior leadership positions: 

Director of Granting  

Reporting to the chief executive officer, the director of granting will lead and manage the OAC’s core arts advancement function. This role will be responsible for all granting delivery, cultural policy development, program evaluation, community outreach and partnerships, in support of OAC’s vision, mission, values, strategic plan objectives and goals.

Director of Public Affairs, Communications & Research  

Reporting to the chief executive officer, director of public affairs, communication & research will lead the development and implementation of OAC’s strategic plan, logic model, performance metrics and priorities. This role entails overseeing communications with three critical external stakeholders – the arts community, government and the general public, while simultaneously managing internal communication with the board of directors and staff. Furthermore, the position involves coordinating the exchange of information and research among all stakeholder groups, emphasizing data analysis and effective storytelling.
