Project Description
The Mississauga Arts Council (MAC) is inviting experienced Mississauga based visual artists and/or artist-led groups to submit a Request for Proposal for a vinyl wrapped Alectra Box installation at 187 Lakeshore Rd E. in front of the LCBO in Port Credit. The project should feature bold, bright designs which will be produced as a 4-sided vinyl wrap.

Artist Fee: $2200.00 (+HST if applicable)
Proposal Deadline: August 2, 2022 at 12 PM (noon)
The vision for this project should complement the newly completed murals on the LCBO building next to this utility box, (i.e. pulling colours and/or shapes from existing murals), and should further the mural’s engaging story, taking inspiration from local creative expressions through festivals, live music performances, dining out, artisan shops, and boutiques. Adding more of the who and what activities and places bring visitors to the area.
The artwork also needs to acknowledge the large and diverse demographic (gender, ethnicity, age, etc) of those who frequent Port Credit.
