Arts on the Credit is thrilled to announce the launch of a special exhibit titled “Mississauga Memories” to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the City of Mississauga. The exhibit will be held from September 5 to September 28, 2024, at the Pazan Gallery, 6A Brant Avenue, Port Credit.

“Mississauga Memories” is a tribute to the rich history, diverse culture, and vibrant community that has shaped Mississauga over the past five decades. The exhibit will feature works by local artists who have drawn inspiration from their memories of time spent in this vibrant city.

“We are excited to bring this exhibit to the community as part of Mississauga’s 50th-anniversary celebrations,” said Elysia Prokopetz, President of the Arts on the Credit organization. “The artists have truly poured their hearts into these works, and we believe this exhibit will evoke a deep sense of pride and nostalgia for everyone who calls Mississauga home.”

The opening reception will take place on September 5, 2024, at 7:00 PM, where guests can meet the artists and engage in conversations about their memories and experiences living in Mississauga.

Admission to the exhibit is free, and all are welcome to attend. Arts on the Credit encourages the community to join in this celebration of Mississauga’s history and to share their memories as part of this milestone event.
