Mississauga Musician Heather Christine releases ‘Walking With You’, her original song tipping her hat to her favourite legendary crooners.
Produced by powerhouse Canadian pianist Bill King, the song features an uplifting melody reminiscent of popular standards performed by vocal legends including Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett and Judy Garland. The tight rhythms performed by Mark Kelso on drums and Pat Collins on acoustic bass sweep its listener away to a time of dance halls, Broadway songs and big bands. Recorded at Toronto’s Inception Sound, the single was supported by a MicroGrant award provided by the Mississauga Arts Council. The release of ‘Walking With You’ coincides with the release of the official music video featuring dance and original choreography by Robert Halley.
