About the Album:
“Dear You is a collection of songs that tell a story, falling within themes of words unsaid and seeking closure, like messages you’d draft but never send. One of my friends described my music as “intentional” and in this album, everything from the order of songs, the ups and downs of production, the sounds effects, and even the switch from 1st to 3rd person in the lyrics, it’s all for a very intentional reason that contributes to the narrative, because that’s just how my brain works. Creating this album was quite the emotional experience (some of the lyrics I wrote messed me up for a couple weeks yay) but if you choose to listen, I hope that you will listen to all the songs in order, otherwise the last song won’t really make sense :)” – Sarah Catharine
