About the facilitators:
Karen Kwok – Board Certified Music Therapist (USA and Canada); member of Canadian Association for Music Therapist; Music Therapist Association of Ontario; Certified Board of Music Therapist (USA) and College of Registered Psychotherapist Ontario. Karen has 19 years of clinical experience serving long term care, day programs and non profit organizations in the Toronto community through her company Bloomy Music Therapy Services. She is also music therapy clinical supervisor for students at Wilfrid Laurier University and University of Toronto.
Samuel Liu – As a member of Drum Circle Facilitator Guild (USA) and accredited with Remo HealthRhythms, Samuel has delivered more than 150 drum circles through his company DrumIN. Clients include various corporate companies, the Toronto District School Board and their schools, long term care setting as well as for and non profit social agencies. Sam is passionate in helping participants to achieve better mental health through active group drumming.
