Harsh words found a magical way
to dissipate into thin air
I smiled back
Step by step
how gradually you’ve descended
into the depths of my heart
reached its canvas
With gentle strokes you have enhanced
the colours of my emotional landscape
Ah, those final touches
How easy it’s become
to withstand adversity
Instantly I’m able to step into my colourful world
leaving them baffled
as to why I didn’t react to their sarcasm
