Amrita Virdi is a Mississauga-based South Asian visual artist and art educator with a passion for surreal and whimsical painting. With a background in art history from the University of Toronto Mississauga, she explores themes of identity, imagination, and storytelling in her work. Inspired by her South Asian heritage and travels to India, her paintings blend dreamlike imagery with rich symbolism. In addition to her painting practice, Amrita has over a decade of experience teaching clay and fine arts to children and teens, fostering creativity in young artists.
