Shaukat Ajmeri is the author of the novel Keepers of the Faith and the short story collection Open Season. He also writes a blog on Substack. In his writings, Shaukat explores the injustices and inequities of the world and is a keen observer of the human condition. He is currently working on his third book of fiction. He worked as a journalist before coming to Canada and now lives in Mississauga on the lands of the Mississaugas of the Credit and other indigenous peoples of Ontario.
