Portraits of Mississauga
This community art project embraces and celebrates the diversity of Mississauga’s residents. Portraits of Mississauga is in partnership with Visual Arts Mississauga with funding from The City of Mississauga’s Culture Division.
Be a part of Portraits of Mississauga this summer!
Create your self-portrait and become a part of a FREE community art project at your local library branch – all materials included. Participants will create their portrait with inspiration and guidance from our artist instructors.
Admittance on the day of the activity is first come – first served. There are workshops for all ages at every library branch across Mississauga.
Each artwork created in the workshop will be documented for possible inclusion in our Portraits of Mississauga book. We look forward to capturing and celebrating all of the faces that make up our diverse city.
You are invited to follow the development of this community art project through #portraitsofmississauga this summer & plan to visit the final exhibition this October at Visual Arts Mississauga.
