Hello, fellow wordsmiths, visual artists and kindred creative spirits!

I’m so excited to invite you all to a BOOK LAUNCH for my second book!

Please mark your calendars:

Sat, Sept 9th, 1 – 4 pm.

16 Adamson Street S., Norval

What is very special about the venue is that it is a historic site – frequented once by none other than Lucy Maud Montgomery (famed Canadian author of Anne of Green Gables), who used to perform on the stage in this very hall when she lived in the Norval area for 9 years (1926-1935). She wrote several of her novels during those 9 years, describing in her books the scenery of the village and the surrounding landscape which she loved.

Steeped in history and now a working studio and gallery where a group of talented local artists unleash their creative energy, literary art comes full circle to this historic, treasured landmark! Fellow creatives are sure to enjoy the colourful and vibrant energy of this unique space.

So whether its literary arts or visual arts that makes you tick, join us on September 9th for mind-opening conversations and visually stimulating works of art; connect on the creative experience, exchange ideas, inspire and get inspired… And last but not the least, experience walking on an aged wooden floor that once felt the weight of a literary giant.

It will be an enriching and enjoyable afternoon. I promise!

A little about the book…It is for kids aged 7-9, and is designed to be a first chapter book with colour illustrations to keep children’s minds interested an engaged as they expand their vocabulary. It teaches an important life lesson with a gentle, humorous approach. The story line of the book involves a bunny on a quest to look for the answer to an important message left to him by his Mom, and of his encounters with different animals he meets during his search.
